  • H.L. Menechin once opined,

    “As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

    After 7+ years of that reality, I believe the “plain folk” of America realize that the leader of the world’s most powerful nation should be smarter than a 5th grader.

    Mr. Bush, may your years be spent in well deserved obscurity attending to the brush in Crawford.
