I would like to tell you how disappointed I am.
You have managed to run the national deficit through the roof in order to finance the war your father never should have started; the war you couldn’t finish. You have continuously been a poor representation of America. As if foreign countries needed any more reason to be distrustful of us, you have been a fountain of poor choices. You have sentenced thousands of young men and women to die overseas, and if they manage to come back you shake their hand, turn them around, and try to kill them again. You were never the people’s choice and I hope you’re keenly aware of that. I hope you are ashamed, guilty, and incredibly apologetic for the things you’ve done and for what you’ve left undone. I know I am. I know America is.

Well said, but it is impossible for Bush to experience shame since that requires a conscience!
