  • Dear Mr. President:

Hopefully, there will come a time when your service to our Country will be appreciated, and I hope it comes before your passing. Although I do not agree with all your decisions, I fail to see why our fellow citizens don’t recall the tremendous burden wrought on you and your administration on and after 9/11. I can still recall the utter fear we all had at our office and the lingering effects of that day. How many could withstand the pressure you were under and the decisions you had to make? This we will never know. I am one American who dearly loves the USA and appreciate what all had to endure in carrying out those decisions. I might be in the minority, but I still love you and wish you and your wonderful wife, Laura, the best after your term. Thank you again for serving in the most difficult position in the World and for caring enough about the USA to make those decisions to keep us safe from terror since 9/11 and hopefully forever. May your retirement be blessed with joy and happiness.

    Sincerely,
    Lisa McDonald
