Dear Pres. Bush,
I wish you and your family the best in the years following your presidency! I feel that you have done a good job, in spite of what others think. I know in my heart that you are a good man and have had the good of the country at heart in all you have tried to achieve during your tenure in office! God bless the U.S.A. and the Bush family!!!
One question concerning the economy. Is it possible to put a freeze on price increases, for example gas and food, to help us get through these tough times? Was not this done back in the 70’s with good results? This would be a great boost for my party, the Republican party for election 2008!!
In closing let me again thank you for your moral example and the unwillingness to compromise on your beliefs.
Best Wishes!!!
David Covington

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.” — George W Bush
Guess W was wrong about that, too, David. Seems you’ve been fooled twice. Geez, sorry about that. Better luck next time!

I have a question for David…
Are the people on your planet friendly?

Good man? Moral example? Egad, David, have you been into the meds again?

Are you serious? The man owns stock in oil companies, so what makes you think he would ever put a stop to high gas prices? Now where’s your good man? he’s been doing all this to get richer.
Aye, if it weren’t for mindless sheep, this country would be far better off!

David, Sounds like maybe you are having trouble making ends meet there. I am sorry for that. I hate to tell you since you don’t seem to know this but that good man is responsible for it. And he is not going to freeze prices and help you. He and and his corporate friends are going to continue to make profits and he doesn’t care if you suffer. The next republican administration? Luckily there won’t be one but if there was they wouldn’t care either. Why do people like you continue to vote against your own best interests?
