  • I, like many Americans, campaigned fiercely 8 years ago. For reasons that will be debated long after both you and I are gone, we lost. And in more ways than one.

I hope future generations read this book carefully and take note. You were elected because of a powerful rhetoric and mudslinging. What you offered in the campaign was what you delivered - smoke and mirrors.

I hope the children born during your reign of terror will forgive us. I hope the thousands of children that were sent to fight YOUR war will have not died in vein. I hope their families forgive us.

My hope is that our nation can heal from YOUR mini-Vietnam (Americas’ second war that was never meant to be won) as well as from an economy that has been devastated. I fear the country hasn’t learned its lesson and is buying into yet another smoke and mirrors performance with Obama, but that remains to be seen.

Goodbye GW. I cant begin to imagine how you must sleep at night. Money doesn’t buy peaceful rest.

    2. Are you sure you meant to say Obama is using “smoke and mirrors”? Surely, you meant McCain. Obama is not as liberal as we would hope but at least he has a brain as opposed to McCain.
