  • Dear Mr. Bush,

As this is a glorious day for America, I wanted to thank you for all the “changes” you’ve made to our country.

I agree, The Constitution is just a piece of paper, like you said.

But I think we should try keeping it around. It’s done a pretty good job so far.

I hope you realize, as I’m typing this, I’m fearful that my information will end up in a database somewhere and that I’ll end up in an offshore court, without legal representation as a result of this letter.

But it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

For better or for worse, you most certainly won’t be forgotten. As oil prices, energy, and unemployment rises everyday, I can’t help but think how it affects you.

In fact, how much do the American people really effect your decisions? They most certainly didn’t effect your re-election. We will take every step to dismantle the Patriot Act and restore liberty to this great country.

I think it’s time we had someone with a little more sympathy towards the people and not the Military Industrial Complex.

    Goodbye Mr. President.

    Thanks for the police state.

You've embarrassed many formerly proud Americans. A lot of us--not just Michelle Obama--find many sad things to be embarrassed about: Your abuse of Executive Powers, shredding of the Constitution, perverting our Justice System, your continued killing of brave Americans, neglecting our…  more »
